The camera spins around the sold-out crowd at the Sacramento Memorial Auditorium whilst the fireworks are going off but the cameras focus on the announcement of Excalibur, Taz & Bryan Danielson.

Excalibur: "Welcome everyone to this special night here at AEW Dynamite. I’m Excalibur alongside ‘The Human Suplex Machine’ Taz and ‘The American Dragon’ Bryan Danielson. Gentlemen in a few short moments we’ll be finding out who our new General Manager of Dynamite and Collision will be."

Taz: “It sure is an exciting time. I have no clue who it could be. Let’s not forgot our main event tonight when MJF defends his AEW World Championship against Darby Allin. Tough ask for Darby here tonight”

Bryan Danielson: “MJF as much as we hate that prick, he’s in top form and I see him retaining here tonight. But guys I’m just hearing from Tony Khan in my ear that it’s time to find out who the new AEW General Manager is….”

The lights go off in the arena and funny music plays before it blends into Sting’s music as ‘The Icon’ Sting comes to the ring with full face paint and wearing a suit.

Sting: “It feels good to be back!”

The fans cheer in anticipation.

Sting: “I am the new AEW General Manager”

The fans continue cheering until the chord of Doom hits as Don Callis comes to the ring with Konosuke Takeshita, RPG Vice, Lance Archer, Kazuchika Okada & Andrade El Idolo.

Don Callis: “Sting your coming back to a much different AEW than the one you were last in. The Don Callis Family controls it all, I control it all. Just look at these killers! If you cause us problems in AEW, you’ll be leaving here in a body bag”

Sting: “Listen Donald, I’ve faced much tougher than your goons in my career, but if they are as tough as you think, let’s get some of them into competition”

Don Callis: “We’re not ready…”

Sting: “Killers should always be ready. RPG Vice tonight you’ll be taking on Adam Copeland & Christian Cage in tag team action”

The fans are cheering wildly.

Sting: “And I think we have a bit of room on the card tonight for Okada there to put his championship on the line against…. Kenny Omega. Have fun tonight, Don!”

Claudio Castagnoli: “Tonight Wheeler Yuta, PAC and myself take on Skyflight and we will show our dominance in that ring and how hard work and tough training gets you wins and earns you one step closer to gold”

Camera’s head backstage into Stings new office when there is a knock on the door. The Young Bucks enter.

Sting: “Nick, Matt, come on in. How are you guys?”

Nick: “We’re great Sting, great opening segment tonight”

Matt: “We saw you making matches, but you didn’t mention us so…we thought we pop along and talk to you about the tag team titles”

Sting: “Matt, Nick, it’s on my agenda. We’ve got the best tag team division in all of professional wrestling. We’re going to have ourselves a good old fashioned tag team tournament. Six teams will start with each of the matches taking place over next three weeks on Dynamite. Each winner will then head to the fatal four way match at Double or Nothing taking on FTR for the titles”

Matt: “That sound great”

Sting: “Next week you’ll be taking on the Grizzled Young Veterans”

Nick: “Love those guys, but this is our opportunity Matt to regain our championships”

After the match, Lance Archer, Andrade El Idolo and Konosuke Takeshita run down to the ring and start beating down Adam Copeland and Christian Cage. They put chairs into the ring to do their own con-chair-to but Kenny Omega & The Young Bucks run down for the save and chase them off.

The music of the General Manager Sting hits as he comes to the ramp way.

Sting: “Well it looks like we’ve found our Collision main event in a huge 10-man match!”

Excalibur: "WOW! What an announcement. Collision has a wild main event. I don’t think the ring will contain them all!"

Taz: “Me either, lots of hatred in this mix. I can’t wait to see it!”

Bryan Danielson: “Well we’ve got our main event to come up now for the AEW World Championship, but I’ve just got word that on Collision the AEW Women’s World Championship and the TNT Championship will be defended.”
